Twelve sessions on admissions, paying for college, and career direction, written for students in 6th through 12th grade, their parents, and adults returning to school. Your organization fills the room. I deliver the session, in person or on your platform.
Employers
Law firms, accounting firms, and other professional service firms
A preferred provider listing for the parents on your staff. They are working through college admissions on their own time and yours. This gives them somewhere to take it, at no cost to the firm.
Every engagement starts with a complimentary College 101 Lunch and Learn for your team.

How this starts
The form below takes about two minutes. My calendar opens when you submit it, so you can pick a time on the spot. After we talk, you get a written scope your board, principal, or procurement office can act on.
Questions program directors ask
What does a workshop cost?
Public libraries are $350 a session. Chapters, civic organizations, nonprofits and college access programs are $500. PTA, PTSA and PTSO sessions are complimentary. Schools, districts, employers and workforce programs are quoted individually. Running three or more within the same fiscal year is quoted as one package.
Why is the library rate different from the nonprofit rate?
A branch programming budget is not a district budget. Public libraries run on a smaller line than schools and districts do, and the $350 rate reflects that. The session itself is identical.
What if our budget will not cover the fee?
There is a book option. A bulk purchase of Say Yes to College: The Junior Year Game Plan totaling $500 or more stands in place of the session fee, which works out to 31 copies at $16.50 each. Every family in the room leaves with a copy. Travel is quoted separately either way.
Do you travel to us, or is this virtual?
Sessions run virtually anywhere, and in person across the Charlotte region. Within two hours of Charlotte there is no travel charge. Beyond that, travel costs are negotiated separately. The session fee itself does not change with distance.
Who actually runs the session?
I facilitate every session personally. I hold two Cornell Engineering degrees, a Certificate with Distinction in College Counseling from UCLA, and the PMP, with 25+ years in technical industries at Lockheed Martin and MITRE, where I hired and built high-performing teams. Across 10+ years, I have guided families to secure more than $25 million in merit aid, with a 100% college acceptance rate.
We are a PTA. What does this look like for us?
PTA, PTSA and PTSO sessions are complimentary. Your organization fills the room with its families. Those families get a session on a topic you choose from the catalog, taught by someone who works with families one to one every week.
