The Session

What happens in the Discovery Session.

  • I learn about your student: grade, academic profile, goals, and where your family is in the process
  • You learn how the college planning process actually works, and what matters most at your student's stage
  • I walk you through your options: what each path looks like, what it involves, and what it costs
  • Your family leaves knowing your next step, and how to take it
This is different from a Strategy Session. The Discovery Session is a conversation about your family's situation and your options. A Strategy Session is a paid, 60-minute session I research in advance on one specific college planning question. If you already know what you need to work through, book a Strategy Session instead.
How It Works

Three steps to your session.

  1. Complete the intake form

    After you click the booking link, you complete a short intake about your student and your family. That's how I come prepared, so our 30 minutes go to your situation, not background.

  2. Schedule your session

    Once your intake is in, you pick a time that works for your family. All sessions are virtual.

  3. Leave with a clear path

    By the end, your family has a clear picture of where your student is, what the process looks like, and exactly what to do next.
